Ah, family life at it’s best! I’m trying to concentrate on writing my first post to this new blog with Spongebob’s nasal twang on high volume in the background. The thing is, no matter how annoying I find his voice to be, there’s one great quality about him - his resiliency. You just can’t keep Spongebob down. My home office has a small seating area with a television – the one we refused to allow in our girls’ rooms. Whenever something’s going on upstairs in the living room, my office becomes the retreat for those who aren’t involved. Tonight, Barbara (my wife) has a visitor; so me, Rachel (12), and Shana (10) are downstairs chillin’.
It’s been a long, amazing journey from East Los Angeles where I was born to San Francisco where I live today. I hope you’ll come back from time to time for a visit.
